Knowing it All
"The more we know, the more we know there is more to know."
Ted Slanker

The
Knowledge Circle
"Knowledge forms a circle about one's self.  Beyond the circumference of the circle is the darkness of the unknown.
"The more one knows, the greater the circumference of one's circle.  Therefore he knows that what he doesn't know is unlimited.
"If the circumference of one's knowledge circle is rather small, the perception is that one just about knows it all."

Nutrition Information
Keys to Nutrition Information

Over the years the quantity of nutrition information on this Website has grown significantly.  This is the introductory page for the various sections of this Website that provide information about nutrition and food.  It is the most comprehensive presentation in the industry for The Real Diet of Man.

This page provides links to numerous scientific resources that underscore the importance of diet in human health.  Most of the links either highlight excellent peer-reviewed reports, introduce some of the scientists leading the nutritional revolution, provide credible links to sites dealing with fungi and molds, or link to myth-busting information regarding organics, GMOs, and contaminants.

I wrote these essays to interpret scientific conclusions in a format everyone can understand.  In some cases I have presented my own opinions or theories based upon my experiences.  These essays range across a broad spectrum of topics that include the following:  a) What is the foundation food for animal life?  b) The history of man's changing foods.  c) How brain function is impacted by food.  e) What is the Omega-3 fatty acid and why is it important?  f) How does one determine if they have an Omega-3 deficiency?  g) A comprehensive Food Analysis table with associated commentary.  h)  Dietary information.  i)  Myth busting revelations.

All mothers, all expectant mothers, and any woman planning to have a child must read this page.  Food plays the most important role in the prenatal development of the fetus.  Improper nutrition in the womb can impact the well being of the offspring for their entire lives.

Here are some stories from people who have cured the causes or at least have suppressed the causes of their chronic diseases with food.  They are inspirational and provide encouragement for those who doubt they have the courage, determination, and discipline to change.

This page introduces grass-fed meat and explains its advantages over grain-fed meat.  Uniquely this page also provides a download of Ted Slanker's highly detailed Blood Lipid Analysis in pdf format.

Briefly explains what causes some chronic diseases and why diet cures them.

Many of our customers were former vegetarians.  Why did they switch back to meat?  Is it because there is nothing wrong with grass-fed meat?  Was it because the vegetarian diet was actually damaging to their health?!?!

These next three sections, linked off the Main Home page, contain pertinent information too.

This page is loaded with answers that address specific questions.

Many people believe that manmade contaminants are man's greatest nutritional threat.  That's not true and this page explains why.

There are thousands of books on nutrition and diets.  In my opinion most of them are bogus, miss the point, promote myths, are designed to market supplements, prey on ignorance, or are written by actual charlatans.  The proper food one must eat for optimal body function is not that complicated.  Developing the proper understanding of the basic needs is where most of the confusion reigns.  Therefore it's not how many books you read that is important, it's the quality of the information in the few books you do read.  Also required is a good dose of Critical Thinking.
